Nature’s Resonance is an interactive 3D audio experience showcasing a new generative music engine that synthesizes a soundtrack in real time which adapts to player inputs. This allows for greater creativity and freedom on the part of sound designers, making dynamic key changes, instrument layering, and tempo shifts much easier.
From a personal perspective, this project allowed for the exploration of numerous fields within the realm of interactive technology, from shaders to sound design. In addition to the core sound engine, much time was spent scripting various interactables within the game space, custom models within the environment, and simple player controllers.
The demonstration shown, though to-the-point on the showcased technology, is fully playable and the latest build can be reached by contact through any venues listed on this website.
